“The 20-Something Life” is the radio show that gives stories and advice for twenty-first century twenty-somethings. This week, host Colenn Berracasa talks with Ryan Redding in the realest conversation of this season. They discuss whether Long Beach is considered part of Orange County or LA County, growing up in Lompoc, the major cultural differences between OC and LA, working on college campuses just to have a job and get paid, passion for the music industry, paying the bills, finding fulfillment outside of work, settling, how passions develop, writing for fun and getting paid for it, what it’s like to work in the Registrar’s Office at UCSB, seeing the silver linings in life, how smart people deal with easy jobs, moving back home after 10-ish years, being financially responsible even though it sucks, the difficulties of dealing with family issues as an adult, having sleeping problems, and the most interesting theory on happiness you’ll have heard this year.
